Who We Are

Bethlehem Steel is one of the largest steel producers in the United States- with annual revenues ranging from $4.0 to 4.5 billion and about 13,000 employees nationwide. We are well on our way of achieving our Vision-to become The Premier Steel Company in the world.

Where we are

Corporate offices, including the Martin Tower complex, The Learning Center and Homer Research Laboratories are located in historic Bethlehem Pennsylvania.

Bethlehem's operating facilities are located at Burns Harbor, Indiana, Lackawanna, NY, Sparrows Point, Maryland, and Coatesville and Conshohocken, Pa. and Pennsylvania Steel Technologies located in Steelton near Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

Where we have come from

Bethlehem Steel enjoys a rich industrial history that dates back to the mid- 1800's.

Well-positioned for the new millennium, Bethlehem Steel has transformed itself into a flexible, highly efficient producer of world-class quality steel, supplemented by a growing portfolio of value-added services and solutions for our customers.

Since 1990, Bethlehem has invested over $3 billion in new technology and facilities that make us a world leader in economical high quality steel production.

Today's Bethlehem Steel is a highly flexible enterprise that is committed to stockholder value creation and is aggressively pursuing profitable growth opportunities within and related to our core business.

What it's like to work here

Bethlehem Steel has, without question, one of the most experienced and talented workforces in manufacturing. A quick study of our workforce composition reveals two striking characteristics: the opportunity to be mentored by some of the brightest people in their field and abundant opportunities to 'fill their shoes' down the road.

The Premier Challenge

Who we are looking for

People who are leaders, who are not afraid to take managed risks. People who enjoy change and indeed are willing to lead change. People who aren't afraid to tack into the wind and present their point of view-even if it challenges existing thinking.

Our Promise
