BETHLEHEM, Pa., September 29, 2000 -- In response to queries from the media regarding contract negotiations with the United Steelworkers of America for a labor agreement at the corporations Conshohocken, Pa. plate mill facility, Bethlehem Steel Corporation issued the following statement: Bethlehem Steel Corporation and the United Steelworkers of America have reached a tentative agreement on a labor agreement at the corporations plate mill facility in Conshohocken, Pa.
We will defer any comments about the details of the agreement until the ratification process is completed.
