Thickness Tolerances
(per ASTM A924 - 97a)
Coated sheets may be ordered to either of the tolerance ranges in the tables below.
These tolerance tables are for minimum thickness ordering practices. When nominal thickness is specified, half of the tolerance applies over, and half under the ordered thickness.
Table 1
Thickness is measured at any point across the width not less than 3/8 inch from the edge.These tolerances have often been referred to as "full" standard tolerances.
