Bethlehem Steel's Construction Marketing Team works with bridge owners and consultants to achieve cost-effective steel bridges, primarily welded plate girder structures. The cornerstone of this effort is Bethlehem's girder optimization program. Bridge studies using this program are offered to bridge designers free of charge.

The unit also provides guidance on proper application of unpainted weathering steel for bridges.
