Bethlehem Steel Corporation is the second largest steel producer in the United States. Bethlehem has annual revenues of almost $5 billion, ships 9 million tons of steel, and employs about 15,600 people.

Bethlehem's basic steel operations include the following facilities: Sparrows Point near Baltimore, Maryland; Burns Harbor in northwestern Indiana; Pennsylvania Steel Technologies, Inc., in Steelton, Pennsylvania; and plate-producing facilities in Coatesville and Conshohocken, Pennsylvania. These operations produce a wide variety of steel products including: hot-rolled, cold-rolled and coated sheets; tin mill products; plate; railroad rail; flat bars; specialty blooms; and large diameter pipe.
