Bethlehem Steel Corporation is the second largest steel producer in the United States. Bethlehem has annual revenues of almost $5-billion, ships 9 million tons of steel, and employs about 18,000 people.

Bethlehem's basic steel operations include the following business units: Sparrows Point Division in Maryland, Burns Harbor Division in Indiana, and Pennsylvania Steel Technologies, Inc., in Pennsylvania. These operations produce a wide variety of steel products including: hot rolled, cold rolled and coated sheets; tin mill products; plate; railroad rail; flat bars; specialty blooms; large diameter pipe.

Bethlehem also produces coal, coke and iron ore, repairs ships, and manufactures forgings and cast rolls.
