A Durable, Corrosion-Resistant, Cost-Effective Steel Plate.
|
|
 |
|
Chemistry
Duracorr is produced to the chemical composition shown in Table 1, and is melted and
refined by the Vacuum Oxygen Decarburization (VOD)
process. It exhibits a fine-grain, dual phase microstructure of ferrite plus tempered
martensite as exhibited in Figure 1.

(1)
Inquire for available plate and sheet sizes with pickled finish.
(2) Plate length depends on plate thickness and width.
(3) Lengths to 480 in. (12.2m). Ask for other sizes. |
Duracorr is available in the tempered condition with a hot-rolled or
pickled finish. It can be rolled to plate or sheet in the sizes presented in Table 2.
Duracorr PMP is available with a mill edge, sheared edge or plasma-cut edge. Duracorr
hot-rolled sheet and CMP are available with a mill edge or a No. 3 slit edge. ASTM A480
tolerances apply to all product forms.
Electrical resistance welded (ERW) structural tubing and submerged arc-welded (SAW) spiral welded pipe can be produced from Duracorr. Inquire with Bethlehem Lukens Plate for availability.
